CD Designs Case Studies
About the Heaton Park project:
This was one of our larger jobs and again the customer was wanting a company to take on all their needs. Not just a driveway was required, the whole front of the property was to be designed.
New walls, new steps, new patio and all to be maintenance free. When we first looked at the front of this property it was in real need of some expert advice. The customer specified that they wanted a grand stepped area which was elevated from the driveway. They wanted also to have a drive in / drive out driveway. A separate patio area at the side of the property was required as this was where the sun was for most of the day.
As you can see from the before shots a lot of planning work and preparation was required. With our expert team we planned out all the relevant areas and proceed to draw up our proposals. Once our customer had approved all the plans we got to work. We set out all the site and dug foundations for all the walling. Together with our highly skilled and qualified builders we set to work building the walls and creating new split levels to satisfy the customer’s requirements.
As the project was coming together we helped the customer come to a decision on the different patterns and colours for the different areas.
The customer decided on the Old English cobble for all the driveway areas in a classic grey colour, and for the patio area to use a Steadman buff colour to create a bright and altogether warm environment to chill out and relax. This area was then printed in a walkway slate pattern which is a nice flat pattern with plenty of character, c/w with CD designs 4ft circle.
Once the driveway was finished we complemented the top of the walls with Indian stone.
One thing I forgot to mention when we took this job on, is that our customer gave us a strict 3 week turnaround time, ready for his wife’s 60th birthday party, because here at CD Designs we have all our own plant, machinery, mats etc we managed it without any hiccups.
